I'm trying to catch up on our blog posts.
Over Columbus Day weekend we took a quick trip to Denver, where I grew up. April, one of my good friends, lives there. We wanted to see her new house and spend some time with her, so we took a weekend trip.

Getting to the plane was stressful (all you need to know is the stranger yelling, "Miss, miss, don't run in high heels with the baby" had a valid point), but once we got there it was a relaxing and fun weekend.
I love this picture of Annika on my lap on the plane.
Ladies who brunch
Funny faces
Enjoying a diaper change at the Tattered Cover.
My sister Carly was randomly in town for a conference, so we crashed their party.
Annika enjoyed hanging out at April's house.
She was happy to try out a high chair for the first time.
And she loved brunching with her Auntie April.
On the way home she was entertained by her pops.
Annika also enjoyed reading with her dad. Both Dr. Seuss and the history of accounting are real page turners.
As long as we're playing catch up, here are a few pictures from her first plane trip to Utah in August.

Happy to be held by Great Salt Lake Grandma.
